All 3 of our teams earned a score of 97.75 or higher for their team presentation (555 - 97.750, 000 - 98.5, 999 - 99.0). In heat 1 our 6th grade 555 team finished 10th out of 30 and 2nd in the stock division. 000 Team - 2nd place overall (Intermediate Modified) - Score of 89.835/100 - (41 laps in heat 1) (45 laps in heat 2)
555 Team - 1st place overall (Intermediate Stock) - Score of 94.043/100 - (44 laps in heat 1) (44 laps in heat 2)
NOTES: 0.68 mile track. This was the 60th race event for our program. Both 000 & 999 had wrecks in heat 1 but both got back the F24s repaired quickly & back out on the track to still finish 3rd (000) & 4th (999) in that heat. 555 finished 2nd in heat 1 with 44 laps. Both 555 & 999 scored perfect 100s on their team video presentation, and 000 scored a 93.5 - all three outstanding! There were no scoring penalties for any of our 3 teams. We are super proud of them!

999 modified - 1st overall 7 out of 8 times, 2nd overall once
000 modified - 2nd overall 7 out of 8 times, 1st overall once
555 stock (team started 20-21) - 1st overall 4 out of 6 times, 2nd overall twice
2026 was the fourth time Cougar Strong Racing has taken the top 2 spots in modified and the top spot in stock. Way to go Cougars!

We've completed 7 races so far this season and we have our final race event in just a few more days. Our 6th grade 555 team is ranked 2nd in the nation for the stock division, & our 7th & 8th grade teams are ranked 1st & 2nd in the nation for the modified division. With the conclusion of the 25-26 season, our 000 F24 has completed 9 years of racing for Long Cane Middle School. In that time the 000 car has competed in 63 race events. At xx of those 63 races, the 000 F24 has finished 3rd place overall or better. 000 has accumulated x National Championships in the modified division (2022 & 2025), and they have x national runner-up titles (2019, 2020, 2021, 2023, 2024).

With the conclusion of the 25-26 season, our 999 F24 has completed 8 years of racing for Long Cane Middle School. In that time the 999 car has competed in 61 race events. At xx of those 61 races, the 999 F24 has finished 3rd place overall or better, and 999 has finished 2nd or better at xx of those. Wow!
999 has accumulated x National Championships in the modified division (2019, 2020, 2021, 2023), and they have x national runner-up titles (2022 & 2025).

With the conclusion of the 25-26 season, our 555 F24 has completed 6 years of racing for Long Cane Middle School. In that time the 555 car has competed in 48 race events. At xx of those 48 races, the 555 F24 has finished 3rd place overall or better. xx of those 48 were 2nd place or better, and xx of those 48 were first place overall finishes. Wow!
555 has x National Championship in the stock division (2021).
